The short version

Biology was the degree. Building things came first.

I began programming at fourteen, moving through C, C++, C#, Lua, Visual Basic, embedded C, Python, R, and Java for Android.

Studying biotechnology added a second way of thinking: experiments, controls, reproducibility, uncertainty, and the discipline of documenting what actually happened. MesoLab and AEDA are where those two histories meet.

This is not a list of every experiment or language. It is the sequence that explains the current projects.

Started programming

Learned through small experiments across desktop software, games, Android, embedded systems, and scripts rather than following one fixed stack.

Translational oncology research

Worked in a mesothelioma laboratory environment with cell culture, SRB viability assays, spheroids, Western blotting, and flow cytometry.

B.Sc. Bioengineering / Biotechnology

Completed the degree at Hochschule Rhein-Waal and defended research on Nintedanib combined with autophagy inhibitors in mesothelioma models.

Publication contribution and independent products

Contributed as a co-author to a research publication while developing MesoLab Analytics, AEDA, and the systems that support them.

Scientific context

Methods that shape the way I design tools.

Scientific software should reflect how laboratory decisions are actually made, not only what fits neatly into a database.

Cell-based experiments

Cell culture, SRB viability assays, spheroid models, combination treatments, and dose-response interpretation.

Protein and marker analysis

Western blotting, densitometry context, flow cytometry, documentation, controls, and troubleshooting.

Data workflows

Python and R analysis, normalization, quality checks, IC50 workflows, reporting, and clear handoff to non-technical users.

Programming history

Languages changed. The habit did not.

I use technologies according to the problem rather than treating a framework as an identity.
